Went to check in and sign some documents at my office at the @cityofdesoto today and walked up in this.
...and it finally hit me.
The last few weeks since my swearing in have been moving fast. We’ve faced many challenges but those challenges showed what we here in the city of DeSoto are truly made of.
We are a community that rallies together. We support each other. We do what we can to lighten each other’s load.
And yes, I hear each of you that tell me “Mayor, slow down and take some time for you this weekend”. I plan to do just that.
But I just want to say how honored I am to serve you as your Mayor, DeSoto.
